Demüre ... Demü ...I mean Demüre

Hey Everyone!! So this will be a little bit a rant and I apologize in advance. Apparently there has been a few confused Demü junkies out there. 

The brand is still alive and going strong, we did not change the name to Demüre, it's still Demü and we are working harder than ever to produce a fully custom collection for next season. You may have noticed we haven't been overloading you with posts on the Demü blog lately. Frankly, because we truly believe less is more. We want to keep everyone filled in on what the team at Demü is up to, sparing you of all the boring details.  

The Demüre blog has focused mainly on Trends, DIYs, fashion shows, events and anything we find way too cool not share! 

In the next few days, the Demüre blog and the Demü blog will merge into one blog focusing on all things revolving around fashion, trends, events and of course Demü!! 

Both blogs have become increasingly popular in the past few months, we appreciate all of your comments and daily check ins!

EcoLux Showcase

The Ecolux event was held at the fabulous ARC Hotel. Young professionals mingled and sampled Thann skin care products, sipped South Brooks organic wines, admired designs by Kania and accessories by Leah Christina ArtWear, and enjoyed Thimble Cakes divine cupcakes all night long! All proceeds were donated to the evening's chosen charity, the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.

A teenage dream

NKOTBSB June 7 at the Bell Center in Montreal AKA Best Day Everrrr!!!

After a very long awaited return, The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block came back for one last (hopefully not) hurrah. The show was hands down the best BSB concert (Ive been to almost all of them since I was in Grade 5) I have attended. The energy in the stadium was insane! I loved how every single person knew every single word to every single song. The songs were echoing through the entire building along with the signature high pitched screams that come with all BSB concerts. Although New Kids were pretty awesome, The Backstreet Boys were clearly the fan favorites. AJ and Brian made a surprise walk through our section to get to the stage towards the end of the show. I know how corny it sounds but I must share with you all how to touched Aj's hand and got a huge smile from Brian!!! My night was made. .  .but little did I know it was just the beginning !

After the concert we quickly changed and headed straight to Light Ultraclub on Crescent st. downtown for the after party!!

   Loubies made it out to the bar with us. After arriving at Light, Sim and I ended up in the DJ booth with Nick Carter (I can die now). We went back up to the booth to hang out with Nick and Howie. Nick loved my infamous spiked bracelet!!! This was definitely such an incredible night!! thanks so so much to Simran for being the best concert buddy ever and NickV.  for making our teenage dreams come true! <3

The Twilight Movie Awards

The MTV movie awards had some great jaw-dropping moments and far too many "and the winner is. . . . Twilight" moments. I cannot wait until the Twilight Saga is over so the MTV movie awards can stop being the Twilight Movie awards. Watching the cast try to out do each other in awkwardness is like watching a wet ugly cat get hit by a train in slow motion. . . .painful and unpleasant. 

Host of the night, "what's his face?", was so clearly trying to be the next Ricky Gervais. Between him and crazy face Kristen Stewart the awkward moments were at an all time high. OH! how could I forget Rpats and his dropping of the F-bomb on live television. I have definitely hit my vampire quota for the year. 

However,  wolves are still allowed.

Best Laugh : I loved the stars of the upcoming movie Friends with Benefits, Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, uber friendly groping fest on stage.

Best "AWWWW" Moment : "Lets get chocolate wasted" the precious little girl from Grown-ups took the award for best one-liner. She arguably had a better speech than 3/4 of the recipients ..and yes that definitely includes K-crazy-face, Kristen Stewart. 

Most hotness on stage at once : Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds present for best kiss

Best Moment of the night : Beiber wins for most Jaw-dropping moment. (His movie was more jaw-dropping than James Franco sawing his arm off? ok?) Beiber surprised his fans by showing up to accept the award. I definitely give him best-dressed male ! Love the new do! 

Most deserving win : Emma Watson wins for best comedic performance for "Easy A"

Worst Dressed : I have no words . . .just . .. .Mess

Best Dressed : Emma Watson in Marchesa 

Did anyone catch Emma Watson's reaction to K. Face's acceptance speech? Hilarious!
